The works, named after kimono varieties and accessories, are all imbued with Japanese culture. They create a sense of space through figures with an Asian charm, often inspired by traditional screens. The motifs are initially painted or hand-drawn, ranging from the emblematic sakura to exotic birds. They are enhanced by striking colors, in a panoramic format with an immersive effect. The textured background also reproduces the warmth and elegance of textiles, alluding to ancient wall coverings in silk or linen.
