Baru Fabric Casamance

Baru jacquard velvet, made of cotton and linen, is Casamance's tribute to a dormant volcano in western Panama. It features a chain of stratovolcanoes, formed by a superimposition of lava in a variety of colours and weaves. The different layers stand out for their contrasting colours and textures. They create a succession of unstructured zigzags with a strong visual appeal.
