Silvretta by Designers Guild is a faux-plain fabric that is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the touch. It is woven from the smooth fibres used for satin, mixed with shorter, twisted recycled yarns. When twisted, the strands escape, forming a down-like effect on the surface. The textured finish has a tactile softness comparable to cotton flannel, as well as the decorative effect of the lustrous sheen.
