Nerikomi Fabric Harlequin

Published by Harlequin, Nerikomi illustrates a pattern on a ceramic created by Henry Holland, when he mixes clays of different colors. The artist is impressed by the resulting curves, like those of the model. The figures are here shaped on the Jacquard loom, and are displayed on the right side and the wrong side of the fabric. They awaken the interiors with their curvilinear movements, softened by the soothing effect of a chalky palette.
