Borrowing its name from the Hopis, an Amerindian people from North America, this playful ottoman is a creation of Polish-born designer Marta Bakowski who is inspired here by kachinas, handmade dolls representing deities and offered to children. Hopi ottoman comes in the form of a natural solid ash base surmounted by a generous cushion covered with a resistant fabric with colorful geometric graphics. This inspired creation offers a bridge between tradition, mythology and manufacturing with contemporary techniques.
